Five Things Friday December 4, 2020
Hello and welcome to the first Friday in December! Here’s a look at what I’ve been up to!
Something that made me happy this week:
I’m hosting my first every Instagram giveaway in conjunction with an author. Sarah Ramey’s memoir, The Lady’s Handbook For Her Mysterious Illness, is my favorite non-fiction read of 2020. Sarah is providing a free copy to one of my followers. (Here’s a link to my Bookstagram so you can enter!)
Something I read this week:
I finished Love Hacked by Penny Reid, it’s book three in her Knitting in the City series. I discovered this author earlier this year when a friend raved about the Winston Brothers series and I flew through them. This latest read is such a perfect example of why I love this author. Her characters are complicated (ie realistic) and while they may do “bad” things at times, they are ultimately shown to be worthy of loving and being loved. Seriously, her books are so great. You need to read one ASAP!
Something I did offline this week:
My husband and I put up our holiday decorations. My Christmas rhino is my favorite.

Something I’m grateful for:
Finishing Yoga With Adriene’s 30 day HOME program
Something I’m looking forward to:
Putting the finishing touches on my current essay and submitting it to some publication.
Now tell me something that made YOU happy this week!
