Five Things Friday: February 19, 2021
Hello and welcome to another Five Things Friday. Here’s a look at what I’ve been up to!
Something that made me happy this week:
These photos showed up in my Facebook memories, they’re from six years ago when I went to the Columbus Zoo on a very cold day. I spent a lot of time with this guy and got these great pictures of us. This is still one of the coolest life experiences I’ve had and it was nice to be reminded of it during a time when I’m not able to go out into the world much.
Something I read this week:
I finished The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klun, which I mentioned last week. I needed up enjoying it more than I thought I would. It’s a hopeful story with some magic, fantasy, and romance elements. I recommended it!
Something I did offline this week:
Yesterday I had an acupuncture treatment to address some persistent nerve pain I have. My Accupuncturist gave me this gorgeous Jade plant! I’d admired the ones in her office and it turns out she has a bunch at home that are all propagated by the same original plant.
Something I’m grateful for this week:
I found this books for free on Facebook Marketplace. I’m grateful for that platform for buying, selling, and trading all kinds of stuff!
Something I’m looking forward to:
Having a “date” with my husband this afternoon running errands.
What are you looking forward to right now?
