Five Things Friday: March 12, 2021
Hello and Happy Friday!
Here’s a look at what I’ve been up to this week:
Something that made me happy this week:
Happy is an understatement, I was blown away by the positive response I received to my newly published essay. This is my first public mention of my recent serious health diagnosis.
Something I read this week:
Last week, I was thrilled to get an advanced copy of The Intimacy Experiment by Rosie Danan. I started it as soon as I could and read it in just a few sitting this week. Naomi is a retired porn star who gets talked into teaching a seminar on modern intimacy at a Jewish synagogue. If that isn’t the most brilliant plot for a romance novel, I don’t know what is! It’s a sequel to The Roommate, and I definitely recommend you read them in order.
* Advanced copy from Edelweiss+, expected publication date April 6, 2021
Something I did offline this week:
I went for my first outdoor run of the year yesterday, it was cold and slow!

Something I’m grateful for:
My ability to process my thoughts and emotions through writing.
Something I’m looking forward to:
Selection Sunday is this weekend, which means March Madness starts next week. It’s one of my absolute favorite times of year!
