Five Things Friday December 11, 2020
Hello and TGIF! This has been a rough week for me emotionally and I’m so glad it’s over.
Here’s a look at what I’ve been up to:
Something that made me happy this week:
Seeing my little dog in his new holiday sweater.

Something I read this week.
I’m currently reading Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May. It’s about how we can care for ourselves when life knocks us down by looking at how nature cycles through brutal times. I’m not very far yet but the writing is beautiful and the author’s message is already resonating with me.
Something I did offline this week.
I framed and hung this postcard a friend sent me a few months ago. Visiting the Hemingway house in Key West is on my bucket list so this is fun to have in my office.

Something I’m grateful for this week:
My chosen family of my in-laws and close friends.
Something I’m looking forward to:
Taking a drive to one of my favorite local spots, The Roosevelt Arch at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
