Five Things Friday December 6, 2019
It’s Five Things Friday! Is is just me or are the weeks FLYING by right now?
I hope you had a great week Here’s my recap.
1. Something that made me happy this week.
One of the few places I shopped on Black Friday was Chewy.com. They had great discounts on pet supplies so I stocked up on necessities and got a couple fun things. My Boston Terrier is always cold so I ordered him some little pajamas. They arrived this week and have brought me a lot of joy!
2. Something I’m reading this week.
I’m currently reading an advanced copy of Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid. It’ll be published on December 31st, so keep your eye out for it! I understand why this novel is getting a lot of buzz (that’s not always the case!) It’s a complicated, emotional story exploring race and class, and also what it truly means to consider someone friend or family. I’m flying through it!
3. Something I did offline this week.
As I mentioned last week, I went to my first barre class this week. I didn’t know what to expect, and it was harder than I thought! I’m proud of myself for trying something new, though I doubt I’ll continue with more barre. I prefer workouts with bigger, faster movements.
4. Photo of the week.
We’ve already had quite a bit of winter weather here in South West Montana. This week was a reprieve and these blue sky days with clear views of snow covered mountains are my favorites.
5. Something I’m looking forward to next week.
I have a couple “friend dates” scheduled next week, with gals I love who I haven’t seen in a while. Sometimes I struggle to make time for these things, but when I do, I’m always happy to have them on the calendar to look forward to!
