Five Things Friday: November 27, 2020
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! Here’s a look at my week:
Something that made me happy this week:
Having Thanksgiving dinner with my husband’s family via Zoom.

Something I read this week:
I read Ice Planet Barbarians in one sitting on Thanksgiving night! It’s the first in a long series by Ruby Dixon. I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy “alien erotica,” but the books were highly recommended by women in a book-related Facebook group I’m in, and I was curious. It’s definitely a weird story but ultimately it’s positive and focused on love and appreciation of one’s partner. I’m going to start the second book tonight! They’re available on Kindle Unlimited, which is great for me because I don’t have to buy them seperately or wait on library holds!
Something I did offline this week:
My husband and I took a walk on the trails around the river near our house. I love how different this spot looks in the winter versus summer!

Something I’m grateful for:
That our family had decided not to get together for the holidays back in July. It’s nice that we are all on the same page when it comes to COVID safety.
Something I’m looking forward to:
Putting up Christmas decoration this weekend. It’s not usually something I care about much, but this year I’ve been looking forward to the change of scenery!
Now tell me something that you’re grateful for this week!
